La Casa Dietro Al Muro is located between the cities of Noto and Avola, in the province of Siracusa. Especially the old part of Siracusa, called Ortigia, is a must do when you're on a visit. The Piazza Duomo (the central square) including the cathedral of Siracusa is a real work of art. You will also see several archeological findings in this part of the city. If the like the Greek history, the archeological site in the Via del Teatro Greco is definitely a must do, since it includes on of the biggest theaters ever to be build. 

The North of Noto is pretty mountainous with several valleys. If you like walking around in the beautiful nature, we can highly recommend the Cava Grande del Cassibile and Noto Antiqua hike. Surrounded by beautiful nature, you walk down to some georgous little lakes which will give you the perfect refreshment on a hot day before you start the hike back up. Just make sure you take enough water to drink and maybe a small picnic!

Of course there are also enough possibilities to spend a day at the seaside, although most of the beaches are rocky. 

The Vendicari Nature Reserve is a big collection of 1512 hectares undisturbed nature. You will find breathtaking landscapes, sandy beaches and rocky cliffs, and also the Tonnara of Vendicari, an old tuna fishing building of Arab origin.
